Blame Game

The cost to the Citizens of the US is reaching the highest levels in "History. The state I'm in Georgia; the Home Stead Exemption was cut out. They said there was no funding for it. I'm a disable person. My social security income was not increased this year, because of the lack of funding. Gas prices are soaring, utility bills has more than doubled. Cost of food keeps going up. But most jobs here only pay minimum wage for those who are lucky enough to get a job. People's homes are going into foreclosure but there isn't a bail out for the working class in this country. Just for the banks or corporations that swindled the American people. Then the government sticks it to the people of this country to bail them out. What happened to the justice in this country when one can be thrown in jail for not paying parking tickets? And those who rip off the citizens of this country for millions; get a slap on the hand for doing it. Why are elected officials always talking about the other fellow causing everything that has gone wrong in our country? Are there ever going to be an elected official we can trust. I was growing up in the fifties and I remember your word was your bond. A hand shake sealed a deal. You gave a pledge of allegiance every morning in school and also a prayer. You respected your elders no matter if they sometimes were wrong, eventually they would apologize and do right by you. They didn't try to blame someone else for what they know they had a part in. There are a lot of people who run this country. There maybe some bad apples out there. Eventually they will either do the right thing or get voted out of office. It really would be refreshing if our elected officials stopped playing the blame game and start doing the right thing for our country. Fix Social Security and Medicare. You spend billions of dollars over seas how about putting some of it back in this country. After all it came from the working class people in the first place. It is you, our elected officials that are wasting the money on your pet projects. Give the money back to the people they know how to spend their own money and let's get our country moving forward again.
