Prolonging

Why is it when we are told we need to do something to make our health better we procrastinate? Is it that we are in denial of the situation we are in or are we sometimes arrogant thinking we know more than what our doctors do? We are told cigarettes we do our bodies harm; yet we smoke. We are told alcohol can give us liver damage; yet we drink. We are told obesity can cause diabetes; yet we never watch are calorie intake. When we are faced with sever health problems because we didn’t listen to those who were talking about preventive measures which all need to listen to; instead we choose the wrong path. We do as we see fit and then ask God to help us or blame God for our own carelessness. We wait to long to get the help we should have gotten earlier when there was something doctors could have done for us. The question is why we have this kind of behavior. Well folks I’ll tell you; it is something even God gives us. It is called free will. So the next time when someone with a little more intelligence in an area we know nothing about warns us; take heed to it. This is called being intelligent; something we all neglect having from time to time.
