Drop The Ball
The uproar on the Oil Spill continues. Obama seems to be over his head not knowing what to do some say. Well weather we voted for him or not the spill isn’t his fault. The blame goes to BP; this is their oil well and their responsibility to get the job done and fix the leak. I may or may not agree with Obama on most things. What I do agree on is; the man could no more fix this problem anymore than any of us could. He has to rely on the professionals around him to figure out a plan to get the job done. For now BP is at the helm and it seems they are having a hard time figuring out what to do next. While the effort continues; the oil spill continues. Like with all of us things happen. If something happens that is our fault we are responsible; no matter if somebody’s view on the matter tries to blame someone else. Mr. President what your responsibility is; to see this company is held accountable for all the damages this oil spill will cause to insure this sort of thing never happens again. We need to tap into our own resources here to take advantage of whatever fuels we can and get rid of so much dependency on other countries. We can’t do this by sitting around waiting until a bunch of politicians to decide weather it is good for their careers or not. The time is now to get started. It will take years to accomplish what needs done. We certainly don’t need to wait years on top of years to get started. Mr. President the ball is in your hands. The question is; what are you going to do with it? I hope you don’t choose to drop the ball.
