Influencing Others

Have you ever wondered if there will be anything that will go right when it comes to getting your priorities in order? God, family, friends, job, finances it seems the list goes on and on. When will it ever be alright to say what the heck; then live each moment of each day without thinking about anyone or anything? It could happen; right! Well could it? I think we all feel at some point in our lives we would just like to think about nothing but our own happiness and doing just what we think would make us happy. Well we do to a certain extent. But what is happiness if you can’t have someone to share it with? There is something in our every action that causes a reaction in others. We are examples weather we are doing good or bad. The choices we make will always influence someone else’s lives. We can’t help it; we our made in our creators image. Not a physical image but a spiritual image. We were meant to be good. No one was ever born badly. It was by our own choices that we acquired by the influences of others to develop our own personalities weather they be good or bad ones. The only thing about this is that we all are accountable for our own actions. If you break a law it is you that must stand alone for what ever punishment is given. It doesn’t matter if your parents may have instilled in you some of their traits that got you into trouble. You only get in trouble if you choose to willfully do something that you know is wrong and do it anyway. Influences are everywhere look around in your own neighborhood, there may be a policeman that lives near by or a preacher, teacher, doctor, lawyer or retired people. It takes the influences of others to help make you who and what you are. If you think about it; those influences in your life has several different names; someone that stands out in your mind that may have been a mentor to you or at least someone you looked up to. Yep I think priorities can be a good thing no matter how long the list may get, if they help influence others in a positive way. What do you think?
